Our range of reusable kantha face masks are hand embroidered and handcrafted by women artisans. They are washable and reusable to help reduce single use mask waste.
These masks are made from upcycled sarees. Traditional “kantha” stitch embroidery is used for durability and decoration. Kantha embroidery is a traditional Indian embroidery technique. It is created by stacking sarees and hand stitching them together.
Sarees are thoroughly washed and sanitised before being handcrafted by women artisans into beautiful face masks.
We’re proud to partner with another social enterprise in India which aims to truly empower women. Destitute women find shelter, training & employment here. This paves the way for their economic and social independence.
This is a handmade product so there might be slight variations in colour or finish.
